This coffee pour over set is perfect for coffee connoisseurs. It just takes a #2 cone filter, and the appropriate amount of coffee for a 10-12oz cup of coffee. The bottom of the pieces is a beautiful satiny blue-green glaze, with shiny white contrasting glaze on the top. The mug holds 10-12 oz, and has a comfy 2-3 finger handle.
Microwave and dishwasher safe, although I do recommend handwashing your favorite pottery pieces.

Meet the Maker
Hello! I’m Carrie, the face behind Meandering Stream Ceramics! I took my first pottery class in January 2023, and was hooked. Now I need to sell some pieces to make room in my house, and to support my habit. ;) I’m often inspired by nature and the colorful world we live in.
My day job is teaching singing lessons! Music is my first passion. My husband is also a musician - we met in music school! Our family is rounded out with our 2 adult kids, and our rescue doggo Bailey. We live in the far west burbs of Chicago, but have family connections to Northern Michigan and Newfoundland, Canada. I am often inspired, and awed, by the beauty of where we grew up.
How it’s Made
These pieces are both thrown on the pottery wheel. After drying for 24 hours, the handles are added, and the shaping and carving is done on the pour over, to make sure the water flows correctly through it. Then after the bisque fire, the pieces are hand painted with multiple layers of food safe glazes. Then they get fired one more time to create the beautiful glaze effects and achieve full vitrification of the clay.

These are unique, one of a kind, handmade ceramic items. There may be small imperfections, but none that disrupt the functionality of the piece.
Handmade ceramics are made with love and soul, unlike mass produced store items. I put a lot of thought into the creation, shape, and glazing of each and every piece.
